The following events are planned for 2026
SWEF Fest Camping Weekends
These have been very successful & popular (depending on the weather !) for several years running.
One of the great benefits for members is that camping for these events is free.
We usually have a campfire, barbecue (bring some grub to share), beer, etc. In the evening we often have night time flying, fireworks, etc.
The following dates have been set for 2026 SWEF Fest camping weekends, so book them in your diaries!
Friday April 24th – Sunday 26th
Friday May 22rd – Sunday 24th
Friday June 26th – Sunday 28th
Friday July 24th – Sunday 26th
Friday August 21st – Sunday 23rd
Friday September 18th – Sunday 20th
Friday October 16th – Monday 18th
Note: Camping is not allowed at any other time unless pre-arranged & agreed with both the committee & landlord.
Annual General Meeting (AGM) & BBQ
For 2026, the AGM has been provisionally set for June 28th @ 1pm at the club, followed by a BBQ @ 2pm
note: this date is yet to be confirmed & members will be notified in advance.
Family Days
Members are welcome to bring their families with them during the SWEF Fest camping weekends in June, July & August – see dates above.
