Another update from the government and BMFA guidelines.
Following the new government legislation of yesterday, the country has again been placed in National Lockdown, as you are no doubt aware.
Outdoor sportsgrounds or sports facilities, which includes model flying club sites, have been added to the list of venues that must close. (see government/ BMFA website)
Therefore, members must be advised that unfortunately, we have no alternative but to close the club site for both flying and social purposes until further notice to comply with government legislation.
Can I also please remind members that your BMFA membership for 2021 should have been renewed by now, if you haven’t managed to do this yet could you please do so within the next week, as your club membership subscription is due on the 1st February, and you must have your BMFA membership in place, otherwise your membership of the club cannot be renewed, and we don’t want to see that happening.
I certainly hope we have happier news to share with you all in the not to distant future, and we can enjoy our hobby together once more.
